Founded in 2012 by Andrew Spaugh (“KahunaDrew”) in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, Kahuna Photo began as a passion project combining creativity, community, and real estate. A self-taught real estate and vacation rental photographer and videographer, Andrew learned the craft through hands-on experience and expert advice from his parents—both seasoned real estate agents.

Over the years, Kahuna Photo has grown from a one-person operation into the “Kahuna Family”—a talented team of photographers and filmmakers who share the same dedication to excellence and community. The team includes Adam, Dawn, Destinie, and Emmett, with Jake and Chloe, graduates of the James Madison University Film School, bringing advanced filmmaking expertise.

Kahuna Photo proudly serves Coastal North and South Carolina, including Ocean Isle Beach, Holden Beach, Sunset Beach, Oak Island, Southport, Leland, Wilmington, Little River, and North Myrtle Beach.

Beyond real estate, we’re committed to our community—providing media coverage for Habitat for Humanity and producing film coverage for Pushups 4 Parkinson’s and other local causes.
